President Rosen Plevneliev and Chairman of the Solutions for the Future Foundation took part in the initiative of Friedrich Naumann Foundation "Dream about Bulgaria - The Future of Democracy in Bulgaria" at the American University in Blagoevgrad. More than 50 young people from all over the country, up to 24 years of age, participated in the educational seminar and discussed their idea of the ideal Bulgaria and the obstacles infront of it. Topics of the discussions were the rule of law as a foundation of functioning democracy, active civil society, media democracy, and the importance of market economy and entrepreneurship.
President Plevneliev participated in the panel "Bulgaria of the Young Generation" and presented the goals and activities of his foundation, which will continue to cooperate with Friedrich Naumann on projects related to education, peace and solutions for the future of Bulgaria and the whole region.
