The President (2012-2017) Rosen Plevneliev participated in the conference "The Future of Europe", organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin. In his speech, President Plevneliev spoke about peace in Europe, the new geopolitical situation, he describes as "cold peace" and the Ukrainian crisis as a game-changer for Europe’s development .
During his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany Rosen Plevneliev was accepted as a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and participated in the annual meeting of the organization. President Plevneliev also met with the President of Germany (2012-2017) Joachim Gauck.
