The President (2012-2017) Rosen Plevneliev delivered a speech at the Beijing Pedagogical University's Institute for Emerging Markets about the role of Southeast Europe in the One Belt One Road initiative, infront of representatives of the administrations of over 40 countries . He was awarded the title Honorary Professor at the Institute for Emerging Markets of this university - one of China's oldest and most prestigious higher education institutuions, with a focus on humanities.
Rosen Plevneliev lectured at the largest Chinese university, Xinhua, on the Future of Leadership, and was awarded the title of Honorary Professor at Schwarzman College at Xinhua University.
